The person that became Bonorr was fueled by a vitriolic force. Tethered to his phone from childhood, he fired off venomous comments at will:

“Screw your latte, your Yosemite hike, your recovering from cancer,” he posted. “And your little cat, too!”

In time, his spiteful energy melted his own skin and left him with a saurian skull in place of his formerly human head, his contempt for all life now reified through bone, fangs, and viscera. 

Upon entering the Bone Zone, B.U.B. possesses the rageful strength and piercing shrieks of a peak-tantrum child, but multiplied to the nth degree.

But the Bone Zone only lasts a couple minutes, the way it did for Bonorr in his dating life. And once utilized, it leaves B.U.B. drained. Despite that limitation, B.U.B. will often enter the Zone in an attempt to quickly tear apart their enemies and to howl over their mutilated bodies.
